Later on, the building was a school for deaf-mute people. In the last decades it was used as a centre of occupational training in hotel management of the Pontevedra's deputation. Currently, the building was completely remodelled and adapted to its new use as a luxurious establishment. Pousada da Lanzada opened its doors in 2015, under the management of Grupo Hotusa.
